Natural Areas Should Be Preserved

Pearson was one of the State's original urban planners; he was the executive director of the Research Triangle Park and Assistant Secretary for Planning for the NC Department of Transportation, and instrumental in getting the Triangle J Council of Government started. Pearson was a firm believer that natural areas should be preserved and in became one of the founders of the Triangle Land Conservancy. His legacy will live on."
