AN INCONVENIENT CONTROVERSY An offer of 50,000 free DVD's of the global warming documentary An Inconvenient Truth has put the National Science Teachers Association in the hot seat. Laurie David, executive producer of the film, charges the world's largest science education organization rejected her offer of free copies because the group has financial ties to oil companies. The head of the science association says that's not true. Gerald Wheeler says NSTA's policies prevent it from accepting any material produced by an outside organization. Host Bruce Gellerman speaks with Laurie David and Dr. Wheeler. http://www.loe.org/shows/segments.htm?programID=06-P13-00049&segmentID=1

Interesting articles - thanks for the links! By the way, on the subject of An Inconvenient Truth, it will be interesting to follow the progress of this man's water-based fuel, which claims to offer a potentially-viable alternative to oil (http://www.viralvideochart.com/youtube/hydrogen_technology?id=vX6CnNc3CFU). Will the oil companies let such a technology ever see light of day?
