The NC A&T State University Cooperative Extension Program is hosting a Fall Demonstration Day to address current topics of interest to small-scale vegetable growers:
· Cool-Season Vegetable Cultivars: Asian greens, brussel sprouts, cauliflower, cabbage broccoli, cabbage, collards and lettuce.
· Fall Tomato Production: Hot-set cultivars for July planting
· Intercropping: Cabbage and collard plants with Paulownia trees as a long and short term investment for small-scale growers. Paulownia trees are poised to be the new timber tree of the 21 century.
