Glenn Gilchrist spoke on Saturday at the Democratic Women's monthly meeting. His talk on peak oil issues was cogent, factual, non-hysterical-- and chilling.

An idea from Jan Leitschuh: How about a screening of the film, "How Cuba Survived Peak Oil" followed by a potluck using locally-grown foods? Could be sponsored by the Democratic Women or any concerned citizen group.
